Lil Elite Scholars is a company focusing on Early Childhood Education following the STEAM education approach. We are leveraging the experts in the field and adapting their work for childcare age children for the Services, Products, Training and Communications we offer.
Services
We offer babysitting for families and special events, such as weddings, parties or meetings. STEAM activity sessions where we will go to childcare centers and lead group-based activities with children, introducing them to the benefits of STEAM.
Products
We offer STEAM based books and toys from established Brands. We developed Theme packets and Activity kits to perform STEAM activities that our staff will use along with the ability for individuals to purchase.
Our Staff
Our staff of mentortainers meet all the requirements from Health and Human Services for licensed childcare facilities. They have background checks and relevant training. They also complete STEAM training.
Our Owners
With over 30 years of childcare experience, along with raising 4 children, our owners Joseph and Christine have a passion for working with and help developing young children with the basic foundation to become critical thinkers and problem solvers to help them succeed through life.
Definition of Terms
- Mentortainer – a trained childhood educator that provides early child-care education through fun and engaging STEAM based lesson plans and activities
- Personal Mentortainment experience – a mentortainer provides 1 on 1 fun and educational activities at home
